Mr. Nitin Charekar is a M.Pharm.–MBA professional with over 34 years of leadership experience in pharmaceutical and medical device quality and compliance, including a distinguished tenure as Director of Quality Assurance at Johnson & Johnson Medical. He brings deep expertise in global Quality Management Systems (QMS), audit and inspection readiness, aligned with FDA, EMA, MHRA, and CDSCO regulatory expectations. . 

With a significant exposure across pharmaceutical, medical device, pharmacovigilance, and CRO-regulated environments, Nitin has consistently delivered results in Quality Assurance leadership, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. Throughout his career, he has held senior roles accountable for QMS design and governance, audit strategy, and multi-country regulatory compliance oversight — supporting global programs, large distribution networks, and cross-functional teams across Asia. 

Nitin has designed and operationalized integrated, GxP-compliant QMS frameworks covering end-to-end implementation and governance for pharma, medical device, and CRO settings, effectively aligning regulatory compliance with business growth, operational resilience, and performance excellence. He has directed sustained inspection readiness programs for FDA, EMA, MHRA, and CDSCO, with a strong track record of proactive regulatory risk mitigation within complex, matrixed organizations. He is known for a pragmatic, systems-driven approach to quality governance and inspection preparedness. 

His enterprise-level experience includes leading supplier qualification programs, deviation and CAPA governance, and data-driven continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen internal controls and ensure sustainable compliance. He is a Certified Lead Auditor across Quality, Environmental Management System (EMS), and Information Security Management System (ISMS) standards, and holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification. 

Nitin also designs outcome-driven QA training programs encompassing GxP, audits, inspection preparedness, and compliance governance — integrating real-world regulatory case studies and interview simulations to strengthen industry readiness among professionals.
